I don't how they managed it, and I don't really care, either! Whole grain oats - and instant? Could they actually be good??? In a word: "Yup!"
There is not one ingredient in the list (see below) that raises a red flag for me, and I absolutely adore this product! In the "old days", I would have to have two packets of instant oatmeal to be satisfied, but I have discovered that just one of these does the trick for me. Must be all that extra fiber? At 15 net carbs per serving, this will not be a regular part of anyone's menu until they reach maintenance, more than likely, but for those of us who can "afford the carbs", this is one very worthy way in which to spend them!

The health benefits of oatmeal have been well established, and I am thrilled to be able to eat it somewhat regularly once again. This product comes in four flavors, and I liked all of them, but just like in those "old days", I liked the maple and brown sugar variety the best.

One glaring difference I noticed between this and the regular varieties I used to enjoy is that I have not the slightest urge to add any additional sweetener to this product. That may just be because my "sense of sweet" has become more sensitive since I went low-carb, but regardless, it is really nice to be able to grab a packet of this oatmeal, add some hot water, wait a moment for it to absorb, and then just eat it, with absolutely no guilt and a complete sense of enjoyment. I purchased several boxes, and they really came in handy after I acquired a change-of-season cold/flu bug. If you miss oatmeal, I feel confident that you too will be raving about this product as soon as you try it.
