If you are looking for low-carb diet advice, support, or recipes, you have come to the right place!

I started my low-carb diet (excuse me, “Way of Life”) on January 30, 2000 at age 35. Now, ALMOST TWENTY YEARS later, I am still beating the same drum, happily living and eating the same way – for good reason!
In 2004, Pearson Education (then the 2nd largest publisher in the WORLD) contacted me to ask me to write a book based largely on the material they found on my Advice page, all of which – plus updates! – is still available right here, for FREE. Free is always good, yes? The finished book was published by their subdivision, ‘Fair Shake Press’ in 2005 and entitled ‘Learn The Low-Carb Lifestyle For Five Bucks!’. In 2002 my success story was featured by Atkins.com and in 2004 I was quoted by Dr. Atkins himself, in the last book he ever wrote, Atkins for Life ~ look for me in the index! {WOW!}

I was interviewed in my home about my success by Dave Young in Feb. ’04 during the short-lived “Low-Carb Craze”, and he liked the Fajita Salad I made him so well that he had me drive down the hill to cook it live on Denver’s KWGN TV 2 for Tom Greene and Natalie Tysdal!

I wrote for Carbhealth magazine from Day 1, which later became LowCarb Energy Magazine, and where I was an Associate Editor until it closed down in 2006.
